AI kiss video without a subscription

You buy credits, and credits buy length. 10 credits is one 5-second video, 20 credits is a 10-second video, 30 credits is a 15-second video. The smallest purchase on offer is 10 credits for $2.99, which is one video and nothing else. Larger packs exist and make each video cheaper, down to two dollars for a 5-second clip in the biggest one, but nothing forces you into them. Three things follow from that shape, and they are the three things people write angry reviews about elsewhere. Nothing renews on its own. Unspent credits do not expire, so there is no monthly balance that vanishes if you do not use it. And a generation that fails returns every credit it cost, automatically, without you having to ask anyone.

One honest caveat, because this page would be worthless without it. The app is currently testing an optional recurring credit plan for people who make videos regularly, so some visitors see that offered next to the one-off packs at the point of payment. The one-off packs are always there, and you never have to take a plan to make a video. If you want the single payment, take the single payment.

Because in this category the word has stopped meaning anything. We read 1,043 one- and two-star App Store reviews across 52 AI kiss, hug and video apps on 13 September 2026, and 122 of them use "free" as an accusation rather than a feature. It is the single most common word in the angriest reviews in the corpus.

Here is what that sounds like, quoted verbatim from public reviews of other apps, as complaints made on a date rather than claims about what any of them does today:

"Charged me 12.99 for a supposedly 7 day free trial!" · "The price is misleading. There is no free trial. The trial is 4.99." · "it says we want you to try for free but it's not free" · "Free trial for 3 days if you get the year long subscription? Get charged right out of the gate with 0 seconds of free trial." · "Offered me 7 days free trial. Charged me $69.99 on day one when I selected the $12 a month option"

A second cluster, 119 reviews and fifteen separate apps in the kiss and hug niche alone, is people who never got as far as a trial: "Nothing is free not even 1 video" · "Immediate Paywall", which was one reviewer's entire title and entire body · "You have to buy credits before you can even use the app" · "You can't do anything without paying for something".

So the honest version of this page is the unglamorous one. AI Kiss has no free tier. There is no trial, no daily credit and no first video on the house. The cheapest thing you can do here is buy one video for $2.99 and then owe nothing. That is a worse headline than "free" and a better deal than most of what the reviews above are describing.

The most specific complaint in the whole corpus is not about price at all. It is about paying a subscription and then discovering the subscription did not buy anything. Forty-seven reviews describe it, and the quotes are unusually precise: "they want you to pay $12 a week and you HAVE to buy coins on top of it to use the app" · "Credit system (despite subscription) prevents any meaningful use of app." · "Literally didn't even use my credits and they are gone."

The same reviewers raise the sharpest version of the argument, on a different app: "They charge YOU for THEIR mistakes. The problem isn't that the AI makes mistakes. Every AI does. The problem is who pays for those mistakes."

There is no layer here for that to happen in. Credits are the only unit; there is no membership sitting above them that also has to be bought. And when a generation fails, its credits come back on their own, in full, for any length you picked. That is the answer to the quote above: the model does make mistakes, and the mistakes are not billed to you.

Sixty-five reviews are about cancellation rather than price: "Impossible to cancel subscription" as a verbatim title, twice, on the same app · "I canceled and they still charging me now 5 months" · "they make it so hard to cancel and still try to charge your bank after canceling" · "The app glitches when you cancel and locks you into the subscription."

Most of those are App Store subscriptions, which is a specific mechanism: the plan lives in your Apple or Google account, renews from there, and has to be cancelled there. AI Kiss is a web app with no store listing, so it has no route to that mechanism at all. Payment goes through Stripe at the moment you press buy, and that is the end of it. If you have a plan with another AI video app right now, cancel it in the place you bought it: iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions, then the app. Deleting the app does not cancel anything, which is the single most common way people end up still paying.

It genuinely can be. If you are making twenty clips a month, a monthly plan somewhere with a generous credit allowance will beat paying per video here, and there is no point pretending otherwise. Pay-per-video wins on a different axis: you are making one clip, or a few, and you want to know the total before you start. It is also the shape that cannot surprise you later, which after reading a thousand reviews of the alternative seems worth something.

Work out which one you are before you buy anything. If you are making one video for an anniversary, one payment is the whole story. If you are making videos every week for a page, price the plans properly and pick on the numbers.
